| 英文文摘 | To observe therapeutic effect of proximal needling on periarthritis of shoulder and explore the mechanism. Methods: 104 cases were randomly divided ino the proximal needling group (n=74) and the ordinary treating group (n=30). Two group were both treated by electroacupuncture plus cupping. The distance (d) from the thumb of the affected shoulder to the opposite spacula horn were measured and the changes of symptoms and physical signs were observed before and after treatment. Results: The total effective rate of proximal needling group is 93.2% and that of the ordinary treating group is 86.7%. There is no significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). But there were significant difference in the changes of numeral valued before and after treatment between the two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion: Proximal needling can obviously mitigate the pain and contracture of affected shoulder joint, increase the angles of moving relax the adherence of joint.
